At AMP Creative Arts, our mission is to ignite creativity and empower emerging talent by providing a platform for artistic expression, mentorship, and community connection. We believe in the transformative power of the arts to inspire, uplift, and unite individuals. Our programs are designed to nurture new voices, amplify diverse perspectives, and create opportunities for artists to grow and thrive.

About the Founder: Chas Thomas
Chas Thomas is a self-taught artist, musician, and visionary leader, driven by a lifelong passion for empowering naturally talented individuals to share their gifts with the world. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Chas’s love for the arts was deeply influenced by his mother, a gifted artist who often sketched while listening to classical music. Though his parents couldn’t afford formal art school, they supported his budding talent by providing supplies for him to nurture his creativity independently.
This formative experience inspired Chas to establish AMP Creative Arts, where the “A” stands for Art, the “M” for Music, and the “P” for Poetry. AMP Creative Arts serves as a platform for artists of all ages to gain exposure, grow their skills, and share their unique voices. Chas is dedicated to fostering creativity and providing opportunities for underserved communities, believing wholeheartedly in the transformative power of the arts.
In addition to his work with AMP Creative Arts, Chas wears many hats. He is the host of a weekly podcast, “The Life Inspired Podcast“, where he shares motivational stories and insights to inspire his audience. Chas is also an accomplished author, a short film producer, and a father of four talented sons who are artists in their own right.
Before dedicating himself fully to the arts, Chas had a distinguished career in the banking industry, working for some of the largest financial institutions in the country. His diverse background in finance, creativity, and leadership equips him with the unique ability to connect people, ideas, and resources to make a lasting impact.
Through AMP Creative Arts, Chas continues to advocate for the arts, offering programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to empower individuals and strengthen communities.
